Walking The Sulayr GR240
Sulayr, the "Mountains of the Sun", as the Arabs used to call the Sierra Nevada, is now given its name to a great 300km footpath that encircles the range. It is divided into 19 sections that covers tens of kilometers of old traditional paths, animal tracks and cattle routes. This new path was inaugarated in November 2007 and is designed to help walkers link small villages at about the 1800m level around the Sierra Nevada. Walkers will also discover a flavour of past Arab and Andalucian cultures and influences. Grade C/D

Desert Walking in Almeria
Believe it or not.....the desert area of Tabernas in Almeria offers some fascinating and enjoyable year round walking of the type normally found in North Africa. We can take you on either long multi-day traverses, staying overnight in tents or on simple half day or day walks. The scenery is dramatic and spectacular.

Sierra de Huetor walking
The Sierra de Huetor mountains are relatively unknown. The hills and forests offer the intrepid explorer a magnificent insight into the days when there were few paths into the mountainous areas. The area may only reach around 2000 metres in height but they have fascinating valley and mountain scenery worthy of mountains much higher and...more famous? Grade B/C

Walking and Scrambling in Mallorca
Mallorca is relatively unknown as a walking destination and you meet few fellow walkers
on some of our walks and scrambles, compared to the crowded hills of the Lake District and
North Wales. With over a dozen hills reaching 1000m heights and two over 1300m
the NW area of the island from Puerto Pollensa to Soller provides great opportunities
for ramblers, hillwalkers and scramblers. If your interest is in scrambling, rather than hill walking, then we believe that Mallorca has the potential to rival the Isle of Skye, without the midges, mist and rain of course!
