The Lanjaron Apartments

We have been given exclusive use of 4 new apartments, named "Apartamentos Rurales de Lanjaron", and situated in the spa town of Lanjaron in the Alpujarras. They are very conveniently situated 2 minutes walking from the spa baths and 5 minutes to the shops, bars and restaurants of the centre.

The accommodation would suit those who are visiting the Alpujarras or wish to enjoy the spectacular mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which start behind the town. They are furnished to high standards and have most modern conveniences. As they are adjoining one another, the accommodation would also suit groups of up to 16 persons.

The Accommodation

All apartments have been are completed in a rustic andalucian style. They are normally set up to sleep 4 in a double and a twin room. This configuration can be changed however to suit, either 2 doubles or 2 twins.

An open plan main living space contains a fully fitted kitchen and a living area with sofas and chairs, TV etc. Wood burning fires are installed for the chillier nights of winter, together with a supply of wood. There are fully tiled and fitted bathrooms some with walk in showers. The bedrooms are light and airy.

Prices

If you are on an activity holiday or course with Spanish Highs Mountain Guides, then the accommodation costs are normally included within the price of the holiday provided you stay 4 nights or more.

If you are self guided or travelling independently, then the price for a weeks occupancy throughout the year is as follows:
June to August inclusive - 450 Euros for a week, sleeping 4.
September to May inclusive - 350 Euros for a week, sleeping 4.

The Town of Lanjaron

Lanjaron is well situated for the coast (40 mins), the Sierra Nevada ski centre (1hr), the white villages of the Alpujarras (45 mins) or Granada (40 mins). A varied and interesting holiday can be had here. The Sierra Nevada rise from the towns northern slopes to reach the first 3000m peak of the Sierra Nevada, the Cerro de Caballo. Great as a walking, trekking, snowshoeing, ski touring or mountaineering destination. The long distance GR7 path passes through the town.
