For those discerning folk who fancy something a little bit more "off
the wall", why not try Night Skiing.
Once tried then, like us, you wont be able to get enough of it. You'll be
addicted!
We
run these night excursions a several days before, during and after the
full moon periods. Normally headtorches are unnecessary as, under a
bright moon, we glide effortlessly upwards. There are no sounds, bar
the sliding of the skis across the frozen snows. The journey is timed
to take advantage of the first rays of the morning sun breaking through
as we reach our summit. Then its a glorious downward plunge through
the deserted landscape.
Groups are kept small and the early finish means that there is still plenty
of time left in the day for any other activities.
