New bridges open access to the Poqueira hut above Capileira

We've just had a party come down the gorge from the Poqueira hut. The paths were destroyed by floods and landslides some 13 months ago but workers have done a good job in repairing the tracks. New bridges over the river help.

Fantastic news that means we can start going up the beautiful Poqueira gorge again.

Is this now full of snow with the recent dump or will it be passable ?

Since the last dump the snow level has gone back up with the unseasonal warm weather so should be no problems

New bridges are great and the path is in much better condition than I expected. The badly deteriorated left turn after the last river crossing has been re-routed to the left and is MUCH easier now !
