Dragon fly - Desert Darter - (Sympetrum sinaiticum)
So I had another dragon fly encounter by the swimming/wildlife pool recently. I fished a dead dragon fly out of the pool, started to take some photos when a live one came along and sat for me to take some photos. The desert darter is comparatively scarce in Spain, but in recent years it has started to become more frequently encountered. So this is a good find.

To view a couple more photos I took have a look at http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/vyE...directlink
