Food for the Mountains
Mountain Meals and Munchies - "Meals for Mountaineers by Mountaineers"

Spanish Highs Mountain Guides http://www.spanishhighs.co.uk have produced a range of dehydrated meals that are available for your next venture or trip into the mountains. The inspiration was a breakthrough into the world of food dehydrating. They discoved that it is possible to actually look forward to your evening meal instead of chewing cardboard!

They produce all their own camp food now. It is produced with local ingredients bought in the town of Lanjaron in Andalucia. It is good quality, wholesome food, at a reasonable price. The only drawback is that they don't have fancy packaging. The packs are vacuum sealed to ensure quality and minimum pack size..

Costs: 4 euros per 150 gram dry weight meal. A 100 gram dry weight meal is sufficient for normal appetites. If you are the "hungry" type then 150 gram dry weight is more than enough.

Breakfast Muesli Mix - (75g)combination of locally dried fruit, nuts, oats, milk powder (sugar optional)
Breakfast Scrambled Eggs
"On the Trail" - died fruit mix (50g) Bulghar Wheat Chilli
Vegetable Thai Red Curry
North African Spicy Stew
Pork and Sausage Casserole
Chicken Curry
Pasta Arrabiata
Vegetable Vermicelli in BBQ sauce
