First snows in Sierra Nevada high up!

First snows in Sierra Nevada high up!
Some of our guides have reported some early season snow fall down to 2500 earlier today. Now back up to 3000m though.

Weather set fair again for this week. A light dusting of snow above 2800m. Very cold at 3000m with temps min just below freezing and highs just above. Winter thermals suggested!

UPDATE First snows in Sierra Nevada high up!
UPDATE: All gone when I viewed Mulhacen from the south this am.

More snow coming next few days
Big Grin Yes more on the way. Not a lot but today, Sunday 27th and tomorrow will see 10-20cm above about 3200m. How long this stays remains to be seen.
