First rains maybe on the way?
Looks like we just maybe in for some rain in the Sierra Nevada in the next week. Yesterday on the Cerro de Caballo we encountered temps of 25 deg at 3000m! Very high. Today it is cooler and cloudier though.
We did have 3mm of rain in one hour in August but apart from that theres been nothing of significance since early May. See http://www.spanishhighs.co.uk/weather.html for our own weather and rain records. Expect some severe thunderstorms for the next 10 days and some inconsistencies in the weather. Maybe a touch of early season snow mid month too? Spanish Highs Mountain Guides |
