Bee Eaters at 3100m
Whilst out in the Sierra Nevada on our way to Mulhacen yesterday, at a height of 3100m we had a flyby from 30-40 Bee Eaters. Does anyone know if its normal for these birds to be that high

Not seen them at that altitude before. Will check with birdwatching expert Ian Williams at Birdwatch Alpujarras http://www.birdwatchalpujarras.com
