This is an update on our last thread discussing which phone company to go with in spain.
I can now confirm that yoigo IS really cheap with no secret add on charges. I used my phone constantly for 8 days and didn't need to top up from the 10 euros I had on it.
I have now acquired a second hand sim free htc from e-bay so I can access the internet in Spain. i put my yoigo sim card in it (in the uk) and downloaded an app called "MiAndroigo" which gives me my current call/text and data usage at the tap of one button. It seems I can get 500mb data, calls and texts on my existing pay as you go tarjeta for a minimum top up of 8 euros a month (which Ill never exceed while living in the UK). This is good news for regular visitors to lanjaron who dont want to commit to a contract but do want to use the internet without WIFI.
