Summer walking boots

Can anyone recommend a good summer walking boot? Just want to have comfy feet.

Scarpa Terra GTX...it's like a carpet slipper version of the Scarpa SL....very comfortable from the start...no wearing in necessary. Ive had mine three months now and had no rubs at all. Only for summer though....too soft for winter. Would be perfect for GR7. I think with a massive camping sack they may be too soft.

Yes I think it will be Scarpa as they seem to fit my feet well. I was looking at these boots They seem to be nice and light and breathable. What do you think?

They are a one piece leather boot with a goretex lining. they wont be as cool as a vented fabric boot but I need a totally waterproof boot for wet grass and showers even in the summer. I have worn them on hot days in the UK and dont notice my feet being hotter as I generally have them loosely fastened so air can circulate.these really are the most comfortable walking boot I ever put on my foot. I knew the moment i tried them on that I had to have them !!!!! They are very wide and have an ample toe box. They are VERY flexible which is why i dont think they would be good for carrying heavy packs over rough ground...I would probably opt for my stiffer salomons for a trek of that nature. For decent paths like the GR7 these are perfect. take a look at the on line reviews if you want a second opinion

Dont seem to be able to locate any Scarpa boots in Spain!! Wonder what the reason is. La Gringa would you bring yours out in Sept for me to try on please. What size foot are you?

Im a 6 but always buy a size bigger for walking boots so these are a 7...a bit big for u but will give u an idea of how comfortable they are? Will bring them out.
