NEW PARAMO VELEZ LIGHT !!!

STOP ALL OTHER THOUGHTS...I'VE FOUND IT.... the ultimate piece of clothing!!! Stop all your other thoughts and ideas and try one of these on. My old Velez had been tried and tested all over the UK, Sierra Nevada and Patagonia and was my favourite jacket BUT 1. Was heavy to carry and 2. Was too warm when working hard.
I saw the new 'light' version tested in Trail in Scotland with impressive results so I waited for a 'double discount' weekend at GO OUTDOORS to try one on. It was softer and silkier than the old Paramo and just gorgeous to wear. Ive used up some of my hard earned overtime cash and bought one. Now tested in heavy rain, snow and as a windproof AWESOME. Im taking it to Spain next week so will feed back the results when I return. Doubt if the jacket will come back cos El Perro will steal it without a doubt !!
It is more flimsy than the old version but also a fraction of the weight. Pack size is half that of my old one. Im not sure how it will stand up to Sierra Nevada rock.
The biggest problem with it is that once you put it on....you dont want to take it off !!! :o

Tested at high altitude in Spain this winter. Perfect !
Have held my velez adventure light and the quito at the same time....quito marginally lighter but velez softer and silkier !!!!!!!
