Huge Sierra Nevada Investment Plan

Good news for the Sierra Nevada region as 30 million euros is planned to be injected over the next 4 years. 10 million euros in 2008 with the marjority of this accounting for the reforestation of land damaged by the devastating forest fires of 2005 of which 2500 hectares of land was serverly damaged.

The restoration plan will also see protection programmes for the parks endangered flora, the maintenance of its 45,000 hectares of pine forests and the restoration of an ancient rights of way.
