Golden Eagles and the rare Bonelli's Eagles spotted
Winter in the Sierra Nevada and Alpujarras is a great time for regularly seeing Golden Eagles and the rare Bonelli's Eagles. Without fail every time I have been to Puente Palo, walked along the GR7 or just sat on my roof terrace I get a flyby by either or both of these eagles.

I always see either the Bonellis or the goldens when i go avove Puente Palo, either to Cerrillo Redondo or towards the Cebollar Refugio. Think they live in the forests below the Cebollar if I had to guess. Fantastic birds to see though

Yes I never tire of seeing these birds and to know they are living and breeding in our area, fantastic
