First snows likely in the Sierra Nevada after 18th October
Since yesterday the medium-term weather maps are showing a general instability through much of Spain from October 18. This is still a forecast and medium term does often change a bit, but the general consensus is that we shall finally see an end to the anticyclonic period we have had sat over much of Spain for seemingly months.

Good news for those waiting for a return of the snows to the high peaks.
