Exploratory Trips before the winter
I have 2 suggestions in mind for forum members to attend (at their own cost). This in preparation for some possible winter assaults in Feb/March/April.
(a) Alcazaba NW face via the Gran Espolon. Camp at Cueva Secreta, route next day. Return via Puntal de Siete Lagunas, Laguna de la Mosca. (b) Loma de la Lanchar. If I remember rightly, Witchitas Reserve (Forum Member), wanted to do this. Well, lets have a go? This could combine nicely with the Alcazaba trip making a 3 or 4 day expedition covering two fine high routes. We have until 10th November to get these done! Anybody interested let me know? Below is photo of NW face of Alcazaba in winter.
