Climbing at Diezma
Hi,
Does anyone have any experience (or gudebooks, topos etc) of the climbing at Diezma, just off the A92 north east of Granada? I have found a reference to a guide book called Guia de escalada granadina: 3 zonas covering the area but I don't seem to be able to find it anywhere (they don't seem to list it on Desinevel site anymore).

So can anyone be of some help?

Cheers.

Re: Climbing at Diezma
The climbing at Diezma is at a crag called Naranjito, Peña Cabrera. It is just NW of the town some 5 mins from the Mway. Come off the motorway head into Diezma, turn left and keep on the old Carretera Antigua until you get to a car park on the right. Head up the road. Crags in front.

Topos and climbs described in the excellent "Andalucía, Guia de Escalada Deportiva" by David Munilla and published by Desnivel. You can get a copy from my mate Guillermo's shop, "Nomadas" in Durcal. See

or Sherpa in Granada (Calle Paz). Hope this helps

Re: Climbing at Diezma
Excellent, cheers for the info. My mate has tracked down a copy of the guide and it should be winging it's way to us as we speak.

I still need to chat to you sometime about the possibility of you using our place down the eastern end for any of your hiking groups, as we never managed to hook up before and I have been really busy with other stuff since.
We will have to try and put a date on it for next time we are over.
